A few weeks ago we welcomed little Benjamin into the world! He was so sweet and slept through his ENTIRE session! Mom wanted a lifestyle session to celebrate his arrival and we had a great time capturing him in his nursery, getting kisses from big sister and being held by his proud parents (we even snuck in a couple with grandma who was visiting out of town)!
So many of my clients are often nervous about having sessions in their home. I always say please PLEASE DON'T WORRY! We shoot at different angles and camera settings that help blur backgrounds and avoid distractions. Sometimes we even move furniture to get the perfect light! Having a session your home is a beautiful way to celebrate your family and document moments that are difficult to get when you are in a public place. Sessions in your home are relaxing, intimate while being fun for everyone (especially dad's and kid's who don't always enjoy the more "formal" studio sessions).
